Indian Peaks Girls Fast Pitch Softball
The Platteville Recreation Department plays softball through Indian Peaks Girls Softball Association. The Indian Peaks Girls Fast Pitch Softball program provides girls with an opportunity to experience the intensity of fast pitch softball while still learning and growing within the sport. The focus of this program is for players to build a strong foundation and knowledge of the fundamentals of the game of softball. Our program promotes/teaches teamwork, good work ethic, and a positive attitude towards the game, teammates, coaches, and official. Practices are held twice a week at the Platteville Ball Fields. Dates and times are determined on coach's availability. Games are played once or twice a week, depending on age group. This league is open to girls ages 6-18 and based on your age as of January 1st 2021.
Practices Start: March 20th
Games Start: May 1st
8U- plays 8 games
10U- plays 10 games
12U- plays 12 games
14U- plays 12 games
18U- plays- 18 games
The season ends with tournaments for 10U, 12U, 14U, and 18U.Registration Fee: $70.00 |

| 2022 3rd-6th Grade NVAA Basketball - REGISTER HERE |
NVAA Basketball
NVAA Basketball is open to boys and girls in grades 3-6. This program is designed to promote good sportsmanship and teamwork while teaching the rules and fundamentals of basketball. Practices will be held for one hour twice a week at Platteville Elementary School or South Valley Middle School in the evenings. Teams will be divided by gender and grade. In the event that we don’t have enough players from one age group we may combine 2 grades to form 1 team and will play in the higher age division. Practice days and times are determined based on the coach’s availability. Please note on your child’s registration if you have particular days and times that they cannot practice. Player/coach requests are welcome but cannot be guaranteed.
Practices will start the week of January 3rd
First Game: January 15th
As with all youth sports we are dependent on volunteers for coaches. If you are interested in coaching be sure to fill out the coaches application on your account. Please contact the recreation staff to put in your practice day/time requests. |
